A historic Sunday

 

Last Sunday was a very special day for our people, it was the first step towards a change in the system that governs our country, a neoliberal system that has been in charge of generating social injustices for thirty years. Most of the population has been deprived of access to health, education, housing, among many other needs. 

Although a change takes time and is an extensive and complex process in which we have just begun to venture, the beginning was a moment full of joy, it was also the result of a long struggle in which almost all Chileans united to challenge the government and demand a new constitution that regulates our country. 

Personally, it was a day full of emotions. I was chosen as a table member and I was very happy to participate in this important moment. I was part of a friendly team at the table, it was a very entertaining process and it had a very rewarding result.

At the end of the vote, with my family, we celebrated in the central square of San Bernardo, among flags, batucadas, horns and people full of joy!!!

A country I’d like to visit

 I would like to visit Mexico, specifically the city of Tulum. I think it would be wonderful to know the Mayan ruins that are located in this place. An impressive walled city that sits on the edge of a cliff overlooking beautiful turquoise waters.  These stone buildings were one of the last Mayan constructions, in the year 1200. To this day they are preserved in perfect condition. Hundreds of years ago they gave life to an important port city of the Mayan civilization. For me it would be a beautiful experience to know this city for its great historical and architectural value.  Also, I would love to know the cenotes, they are underground water ponds that originate from the roof collapse in some caverns, also, beaches of the beautiful Yucatan peninsula. The natural landscapes of this place are incredible.  Last year I was thinking of traveling this summer, I never believed that we would live a pandemic or that it would last so long, well, like everyone else… I hope to get to know this w

Fav food

 Hello everyone, first I will tell you that my favorite food is Arab potatoes, the truth is I am not very good to eat, but when there is this food I am capable of having lunch twice, I really love them, their preparation is quite long and tedious, but it's worth it, they look even better when you add dressing. The recipe was shared by my grandmother with the whole family several years ago. I also love ceviche, especially reineta, to be honest it is quite good when I prepare it. I think the best place to eat it is the cove of Valparaíso, they prepare it with fresh ingredients and it is really delicious. On the contrary, the food I like the least is broad beans, I don't like their smell or taste in any recipe, my family loves them, I prepare another salad when there are broad beans for lunch. Finally, my favorite dessert without a doubt is the Pompadour cake, a litter cake (“hojarasca”) with whipped cream and banana essence. It is a Chilean cake of French origin, very popul

My favorite music

  Hello everyone! Today I will tell you a little about the music that I like. The truth is that my likes about this beautiful art are very versatile, I have a huge list of favorite songs that, in terms of style, have very little relation. In my Spotify list it appears from Don Patricio to The Doors, it has a great variety ... I love listening to music every day while doing different activities, I think it is a wonderful company, except for studying, I start singing and it is impossible for me to concentrate. Some of my favorite artists are: Mon Laferte, I love her voice and the passion with which she sings as well as the sensitivity that she expresses in her lyrics, I think she is a truly original artist; Alicia Keys, I think her voice is also beautiful, the song I like the most is If I Ain't Got You; Sticky Fingers, I really like your style. Last year with my group of friends, we went to the concert they gave at the national stadium and it was fantastic, it was a great show.
